I am Daniel Perez, Associate Chief Financial Officer at MoMA in New York. I oversee a nearly $300 million P&L.. I'm also a chemical engineer, and a concert pianist.
At MoMA, I've overseen finance, capital planning, human resource planning, and operations through a $1 billion expansion, through the pandemic, and through business recovery thereafter. I started my career in Mexico, analyzing over $1 billion of investments in the chemicals, energy and manufacturing spaces. I got my MBA at Stanford University and my Engineering Degree from Monterrey Institute of Technology.
Paragon means " a model of excellence." Simply put - my goal is to buy a great business and operate with the highest standards of excellence across all dimensions.
In the spirit of discretion, flexibility and speed to close, I propose:
1. An Initial Meeting to explore if there's a fit and discuss the business at a high level.
2. A Preliminary Review to assess the business's historical trajectory, financial metrics and competitive advantages, and to develop a letter of intent.
3. Due Diligence in key areas of legal, accounting, risk, HR and customers.
4. Closing, executing legal documents, funding the transaction, and preparing the transition.
